Love Is Gone – 10 Year Anniversary!

Hey everyone!

It has been 10 years since the band Dommin released our major label debut, “Love Is Gone.” It also generally marks the time period that we were most actively touring and when most of our current fans heard us for the first time. To celebrate, we initially wanted to release a vinyl version and there were a few other ideas brewing as well. When we contacted our former label about it, we were basically told it’s too hard and too expensive. That’s what happens when you don’t own your masters, to all you aspiring musicians. In any case, what we did was record a brand new version of Dark Holiday just a couple of months ago and we called it the “Decadent Version.” It has some small changes that you may recognize from our performance of the song at shows like the honky tonk piano sound, the big hits before the 2nd chorus and a few other things as well. We also recorded a better sounding acoustic version. This will be released on February 2, 2020. It will be available on every streaming and download platform. So check it out on Spotify, iTunes, Apple Music, GooglePlay, Amazon or wherever you get your music. Please add it to your playlists and share it with your friends and followers.

The cover art for this Single/EP is comprised of characters that were sketched during the storyboarding phase for the stop-motion music video idea that never came to fruition.

Finally, for no other reason than to celebrate, we made available a free download of a cover song that we created during our last PledgeMusic campaign for Beautiful Crutch. Check out our cover of “I Feel You” by Depeche Mode on Dommin.net

We hope that you have fond memories of this time as we do. We hope you’re enjoying the re-release of Mend Your Misery and we hope you’re looking forward to the 4th Dommin album, loosely slated for Spring of 2021.

Let’s get everyone to share their pictures, videos and memories of this time on their socials. And please tag us so we can reshare them too.

Thank you for all the memories and good times. We hope you are all well and we still hold hope that we will see everyone again soon.

From the heart,

Kristofer, Konstantine, Billy & Cameron
